Sterling
Silver-composed of 92.5% pure silver with 7.5%
copper.
14kt yellow gold-composed of 58.3% pure
gold with copper, silver and zinc in the alloy.
14kt white gold-composed of 58.3% pure gold
with nickel, copper and zinc in the alloy.
CAUTION: Some
people experience a reaction to the alloy
material, particularly copper and nickel. Sterling
silver and 14kt yellow may turn certain
individual's fingers black or green because of
allergy or body acidity.

Jewelry
Care
Gold
is easily cleaned. Warm a little 'Fantastic'
cleaner in your microwave (use only a glass
container), sit the container in a safe area and
add your rings. Let the rings sit for a few
minutes and then brush them gently with a clean
toothbrush and rinse thoroughly in warm water. Do
not put pearls, emeralds, opals and other soft
stones in this cleaner. Sapphires, Rubies and
Diamonds are safe. 'Fantastic' is similar to the
chemicals found in store bought jewelry cleaner.
The
use of any product containing bleach will dissolve
the solder used to bond gold and silver pieces
together. When exposed to bleach your jewelry will
break Please remove all jewelry before using
bleach products or wear rubber gloves.

Warranty
and Guarantee Policies
All
products manufactured by deSignet International
are guaranteed to be free of defects in
workmanship, are made of the finest materials and
are guaranteed to be as described in their product
description. All products are stamped with the
material from which they are made (Sterling
Silver, 10Kt, 14K). Any product with defects will
be repaired or replaced free of charge, at our
discretion, and will include a refund of all
shipping charges related to said repair.
All
products manufactured by deSignet International
are warranted for the life of the original
purchaser. Normal wear of a jewelry item is to be
anticipated and is not covered by said warranty.
No warranty expressed or implied is attached to
gemstones. Many jewelry companies require a
regimented four or six month inspection schedule.
Because of the distance to many of our customers
and the cost of shipping, we recommend that you
have a general inspections done by your local
jeweler. If your local jeweler recommends service,
please contact us through email
or by phone (888-727-8266) so we can advise you of
the appropriate course of action. If we determine
that it is necessary to see the product, you will
be asked to ship the product fully insured to us
for inspection. Please call in advance and receive
a Return Authorization Number. It is important
that the Return Authorization number be clearly
displayed or your package may be refused!).
Note:
The deSignet warranty is immediately voided if the
jewelry item is serviced by a third party without
written approval from deSignet.

Return
Policy
Stock
Items
Products
from our existing lines (stock patterns or items)
are refundable less all shipping charges, foreign
taxes and duties and any rush fees.
There
is a restocking fee of 20% on all returned stock
merchandise. Custom items are not returnable.
Note:
Items must be returned within 30 days of the
original ship date in good condition. Good
condition means that the item must not show signs
of wear and must not have been altered in any way
(i.e. resized or re-polished). Any item that has
been engraved or resized is not returnable. A
return authorization number is required. No
returns will be accepted without a valid Return
Authorization number or after 30 days from the
original ship date. Please call 888-727-8266
Extension 103 (Marie) for your RA number. Be sure
to write the Return Authorization number on the
outside of your package. Refunds are in kind (i.e.
company check if paid by bank check/money order or
a credit to your credit card).

Engraving
Engraving
is $10.00 for block or script lettering. However
if you write a novel to be engraved, it's a bit
more! Email for pricing.
Privacy
We
currently process our on-line order via a secure
website and use Authorize. Net processing services
to verify all credit card orders. In addition, we
will not transfer, sell or divulge any information
provided such as email addresses, billing
addresses, names or credit card information. All
said information is only used internally to
process your order. Credit card information is
purged from our database once an order is shipped.

Cancellations
Yes,
you may cancel your order within three business
days from the time you place your order at no
charge. After three business days there will be a
20% cancellation fee. Please keep in mind that
each piece is hand made which is why a
cancellation fee is necessary.

About
Us
In
2006,
a friend and I decided to pursue making a copy of
the ring Jamie Fraser gives to his wife Claire in
the novel "Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon
for Diana Gabaldon's fans. There was a sketch of
the ring in Diana's reference book "The
Outlandish Companion."
After
we got permission from Diana, we researched
jewelers and found the perfect match in deSignet
International, they offered the best quality
and customer service, and understood the whole
"Celtic thing". I took orders from about
100 Jamie fanatic friends and sent off to deSignet
in turn they made hundreds of Claire's Rings.
Claire's Ring is now available to the public. This
ring is so popular that it even has its own
website!
After
many emails and phone calls with Marie who handles
all the Claire's Ring orders, I finally had the
pleasure of meeting Marie and deSignet owner Reg
in August '07, it was then I was presented with
the beautiful Claire's Ring Cuff Bracelet you see
sold in the Diana Gabaldon section. I expressed
how there was really no jewelry made for people
that love fiction, particularly the devoted fans
of Jane Austen and Charlotte Bronte. The following
October I met up with my favorite author Diana
Gabaldon and asked if I could have Brianna's
bracelet made, she graciously gave me permission
to create the fantastic jewelry she describes in
her novels.
I was
given the opportunity to work up some designs and
along with some of deSignets designs (many thanks
Bob!), we've built quite a unique jewelry
collection for fans of books. Both deSignet and I
hope the jewelry created just for you, the reader,
is successful in hopes of expanding our library of
jewelry to equal your library of books!
